Norton Ghost is a utility to backup and restore data to hard disk drive or other media. Ghost also features compatible with the latest hardware such as the ability to copy the SATA devices as well as additional backup and restore through networking (LAN).

Ghost function is to backup or restore your hard disk for a standalone PC or across a network. You can back up partitions or through inter-computer disc with transfer files to other computers within a network of networks.

Ghost for network usage are distinguished by the status of a computer Slave and Master. Slave computer status functioned as a container for computers, storage or storage. There are 2 programs that can be used as the Ghost Slave status for peer to peer or GhostCast Server (GhostSRV) in the Slave computer.
