Prevent virus spread by Flashdisk | Tips or Trick

A virus always take advantage of weakness and even the excess of an operating system when making infections on our computer. One of them is autorun. A system is provided by the operating system to facilitate users. We as users can be lulled by the ease provided, so that we unknowingly have opened an opportunity for the entry of virus into our computer.

For some people maybe it's not a problem. I mean people who are diligent to update anti-virus. But sometimes we as humans could have forgotten or perhaps lazy to update it, even people who I'm talking about earlier. Basically, all it does not need to happen because there are a few to prevent the virus spreads through Flashdisk. Here are the steps:

Open the Registry Editor, by clicking the Start Menu> Run and type regedit then click OK
Find Location of KEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Create a new key (Right click> New> DWORD Value) give name: NoDriveAutoRun
Double-click to fill the value (data). Select Base: Decimal, and enter the Value data with 67108863
If necessary, can also add the same value in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
Finally, Restart your computer
