Contact Forms with Google Docs | Tutorial

For webmasters or bloggers must know how important a contact form. Where is it useful to visitors of a site, to contact the site owner in any purposes. Usually very often used if the visitor wants to ask more information or to confirm that relates to what is written in the sites visited.

In this tutorial, I just wanted to share a little knowledge in making contact form with the facility google docs. Of course, I share this knowledge because I think this is the easiest way and effective way to create a contact form.

Well, for those of you who are interested to make a contact form to use Google Docs, the following steps:
  1. Please log into Google docs with your gmail ID.
  2. Click the drop down button "Create New", then select "Form".

  3. Click the "Theme: Plan" if you want to select the display form in accordance with the wishes, or if you do not want to choose the theme live ignore it.
  4. Replace the words "Untitle Form" with the text you want, eg: contact us. Fill the box underneath the text you want, for example: To contact us, please fill out the form below.
  5. Please think, what elements you want to create. Simple example that is often made in a contact form is "Name, Email, Subject, Message 'to add a new element, you can click on the" Add item "in the top left.
  6. To create a form in accordance with the desire, Fill the Question Title box with the desired, for example: Name. Help Text may be in content or in the empty, Question Type select "Text". Check the small box next to "Make this a required quetion" if you want the form that must be filled by the sender of the message. Click the "Done" if the form is completed.

  7. To create a form other, you live to add new elements by clicking the "Add item" and fill with your own. For the question type, adjust as needed.
  8. If all the desired form is completed, Please click the "More Action" and select "Edit Comfirmation", fill in the desired words.   9. Click the back button "More Action", and select "Embed". Copy the code given, then paste in the "Note pad" or other text editor. The code is a code that will be installed on your blog.
  10. Finish.
Once you get a contact form code from google docs, the next step is to install the code on your blog.

Here are brief steps:
  • Please login to blogger with your ID
  • Click the new entry
  • Give your post title, for example Contact Us.
  • Move to the Edit tab of writing HTML
  • Copy and paste the code that had contacts in the form can be from google docs
  • Click the Publish button entry.
  • Done.

To check the incoming messages, you stay logged into google docs, then look at the files that you created earlier.
