Have one day your computer will not start suddenly? And then you bring your computer to a repair? Other times if that happens do the following tips which are first aid for a computer in such conditions- Check cable, starting from the incoming cable to the UPS / Stabilizer, Power cable to the monitor, monitor cable to the computer and the cable into the computer. Make sure the installation was appropriate and tight, and there is electrical current and sufficient.
- If there is a CD-ROM / DVD-ROM and can be opened / closed, then the possibility of problems on the computer, starting from the power cable into the motherboard or the motherboard itself, check the cable installation.
- If the two steps above are checked, and still not lit, turn off the computer and reset the BIOS on the motherboard. The way can be seen in the motherboard manual, and find the BIOS Reset menu. Usually to reset the BIOS can be performed on Jumper 1 (JP1). There is 3 pin, which 2 of them associated with a small connector. To reset, just remove and put in the other 2 pins. For example the 3 pin pin 1,2,3 and 1 and 2 are connected, then stay off for the reset and put the pin 2 and 3. Allow about 30 seconds or so and then return as before. Turn on the computer.

- If the BIOS has been reset and still does not work, try remove the CMOS battery, which is on the motherboard. Let stand about 1 minute, then put back and turn on the computer. If the battery is long enough, more than 3 years, it is better replaced with a new one. Especially if the clock on the computer often does not match.
- If the fan Processor / VGA spin, but the computer has not started, then chances are there's something wrong with the motherboard BIOS or the motherboard is damaged. Maybe the BIOS needs to update, but before the update, the computer must be running (in BIOS) first. To do that, try to disconnect the cable Hardisk, CD-ROM and Floppy. Then, take the computer memory (RAM) and replace the other slot or use another computer's memory. This may be repeated several times, until there are signs of life ...

- If the computer is looking to work, the hard disk spinning and the power light is flashing but no display monitor, the possibility VGA (Graphic Card) your computer problems. Try replacing them with other VGA, or check it on another computer (This is if the VGA is not so one with the motherboard).
